Anna Brudzińska graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, the Department of Sculpture, in 1999.
As a young artists she enjoys certain privileges. She can afford to seek and choose various, not always secure paths, to be wrong, to make mistakes. She should take as long time to do this as possible, because it will become the foundation of her creativity.
She can also afford to be herself, to create in accordance with what she feels and what she deems important in life. She can do these things and more…
Considering her works, one should notice that at the threshold of her artistic activity she looks for answers to her own questions and her own doubts. It is an important decision. Despite simple means (the line, point, uniform colour), prompted by serious personal decisions, she tries to find answers to questions, dictated by the profound reflection on the reality around us. Anna Brudzińska`s blue colour suits her personality. Will the line and other forms comply? Or perhaps something else will be born?
